The Adult Education program at FCC is a grant-funded program providing academic classes and other services to Maryland residents who do not have a high school diploma or who need a skills refresher for their jobs or continuing education. Students must be at least 18 years of age and not enrolled in public school. The adult education program provides educational opportunities for adults who wish to acquire competencies necessary for further education, employment, or personal enrichment.

GED The pre GED test was a paper-based assessment graded by scoring companies. The GED Access Codes were part of the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Scoring Vendor's technology. GED Access Codes provided to people before January 1, are no longer useable on the GED testing service webpage. Adult Education, as part of the Workforce Innovations and Opportunity Act (WIOA), provides services to adults to build the knowledge and skills necessary for high school equivalency (HiSET), employment, post-secondary opportunities, and economic self-sustainability. Passing the GED® tests along with the AZ Civics Test is one way a High School Equivalency Diploma can be earned in Arizona. The other options are the College Credit Pathway and the HSE PLUS Career Readiness Pathway. Below are details about the GED® option.
